The wine list offers an incredible selection of wines from “island” producers, most of which are from across Greece, but includes bottles from other islands such as Sicily, Britain (sparkling!), Tasmania, New Zealand and even some French island appellations. Quickly we realised this place has much more to offer. We returned for a fantastic meal and would urge others to do the same! Read moreAfter two disappointing restaurants in Folegrandos, we had high hopes for our last dinner at 1790. From start to finish, impeccable execution of every dish, and the wine list is very extensive albeit priced accordingly.
Dishes were busting with flavours and the staff was very attentive; you saw people doing their craft and enjoying doing so.
Absolute must if you stay in a Folegrandos, I would recommend saving for this one and otherwise try some of the local restaurants outside the main village up north for an authentic...
