The sweets' paradise! The best choice ever for our wedding celebration! We organized our wedding in Folegandros and we were absolutely sure where our wedding sweets would come from: Parasagas. We ordered ice cream, baklava rolls, and the most amazing wedding cake with fresh fruits. Everything was beyond perfect! Parasagas is truly the best brunch, ice cream, coffee, and sweet shop in Folegandros. Every time we visit the island, we stop there for brunch and, of course, for treats. They are the specialists of flavours, offering not only delicious treats but also healthy choices for brunch, along with creative and unique sweets. All the products are fresh, tasty and so good that you simply don’t want to stop eating. Our friends still talk about the sweets from our wedding, especially the incredible wedding cake! Personally, we can’t wait to come back to Folegandros to enjoy the baklava rolls again and the unforgettable banoffee ice cream. A big thank you from our heart for treating us like family and for making our love story...

But the second you sit at a table they bring you water (to charge you for it of course without asking. If you bring it up when you leave unopened they remove it from the bill) then every beverage you get is DOUBLE THE PRICE of takeaway when you sit at the table. So order your waffle. Sit and eat. Then order your coffee for take away and not pay 4.50-6 for a simple coffee. And pay half that. They were out of all the local cheese pies at 10am too so they substituted for some ham and cheese thing that made me nauseous. The coffee is good. But 2.50 vs 4.50 for a glass vs a take away cup is a big difference. And trying to get you to pay for water that you didn’t ask for is the first time I’ve experienced...
Read moreOne of my favourite spots to sit with my book or diary where I record stories. I can’t get enough of the jazzy music and the friendliness of the staff and owner.
I never felt like I should hurry up and leave nor did I feel I had to order more in order to sit and enjoy my book
I did order juice and two coffees as well as an omelette but I sat there for hours and watched the people walk by.
Hard to concentrate under the jasmine branches which were knit together over decades.
I love this spot. When I go home I often think I wish I were sitting right there with my favorite person or book.
Time stands still.
Every moment here...
