We loved it so much that we returned to have our 17th anniversary dinner here out of everywhere else we had eaten. The food is delicious.. I particularly recommend the grilled squid, the shrimp saganaki and the vegetable Musaka. All fresh and delicious and the spicy feta dip is the best I have eaten and that includes I’ve a dozen islands and a tour around mainland Greece. The lady there is so lovely, the first night I wanted the vegetable musaka and they had sold out 3 nights later we went back and I walk in and she said “I have it” so lovely!! Location is nice and there are many tavli (backgammon) board games you can borrow and play at a table. We’d been here a couple years before when the owner Niko was quite friendly, offered us loukoumi at the end of a meal, and even lit up candles on a bowl of loukoumades. This visit it felt like we were imposing and Niko’s whole tone had changed. The food prices are higher than they are at other restaurants for what you get. The gyro wasn’t good and I don’t recommend it. The scraps of meat were just gristle and gross, and the price wasn’t worth it. This place is a shame. Deplorable welcome. Not a word, not a hello, nothing. Here the tourist is just a wallet.

We ordered a Gyros, a famous Greek specialty. How sad on the plate. The meat, from an unidentified animal, reheated in the microwave from yesterday or the day before, accompanied by a few sad frozen fries. To complete this poor picture, a small pita and a portion of tzatziki from the supermarket.

We returned the plates almost intact, without any questions or concerns from the boss or the waitress.

About the positive, the place is lovely and the bottled water was good ...
