Divan — Restaurant in Municipality of Glyfada

We visited on May 1st 2022. The food was nice, but the portions really large. a pizza can easily serve 2 people. And with the prices, it would have been nice to know this. Warning: The prices on the menu were 15-30% lower than on the bill, so, the 15-30% extra costs (making a pizza well over 15 euros) was a nasty surprise. Also, take your time when going out to dinner here, it takes longer than in most other restaurants. We also did not all 4 get our food at the same time. One of us got their food 30 minutes after the first person getting their food. When we were there, there were hardly any other guests, so it was not because it was busy. I had disappointing dinner at Divan last night. The food is still fair, but the value for money is no longer there. When we paid the bill I noticed the prices were different from those on the menu. When I questioned the manager I was told that the menu was "in the process" of being updated to reflect the new prices which were now 15-20% higher. They told me the waiter should have informed me of the price change and that I should have asked for a discount before paying the bill. I had a falafel craving so when I walked by this place and read the display menu I was excited, but the display menu was completely different from what they charged me. E.g. I bought hummus on the menu it said it came with pita, but they charged me 1.5 euro for one pita bread. I bought salad and again on the menu and what they charge are different prices... 1.5 euro for one piece of a tiny pita bread, it isn't even a normal sized pita bread!!!
