Such a vibey and effortlessly cool spot. Sebastian, the poolside restaurant inside the Ace Hotel in Glyfada, is exactly where you want to be on a warm summer afternoon. We originally came just for a relaxing swim and some sun, but ended up staying for an early dinner—and I’m so glad we did.
We sat outdoors by the pool, soaking in the laid-back atmosphere with palm trees and mellow beats playing in the background. To kick things off, we ordered Bloody Marys—spicy, refreshing, and just what the summer weather called for.
For food, my friends went for the Green Goddess Caesar and the Double Smashed Burger, both of which looked (and apparently tasted) amazing. I ordered the Linguine Vongole, which completely exceeded my expectations. It was bursting with a rich lemon flavour, and the portion was surprisingly generous for something listed under the entrée section. We also shared a classic Greek salad, fresh and vibrant as always.
Everything about the experience felt elevated but easygoing—from the stylish decor and great service to the poolside views and beautifully curated menu. Whether you’re staying at the hotel or just dropping by for the afternoon, Sebastian is a...
Read moreWhile staying at Ace Swim Club we stopped into Sebastian for both dinner and breakfast. For dinner we were treated to an authentically prepared Greek dish, the fish of the day (a delicious and perfectly cooked sea bream), perfectly paired wine suggestions by Spirios, and they even prepared a side of local mountain greens as a side even though it wasn’t available on the menu. My Greek husband raved about the food and service, which as we all know is incredibly high praise.
For our breakfast sitting, the coffee was smooth and delicious. They were able to prepare a half caf latte on their Marzocco and had American coffees like drip and americanos along with all the traditional Greek drinks.
We highly recommend adding this restaurant to your list if you’re staying in Glyfada. It’s even worth a drive from...
Read moreMy husband and I visited this restaurant twice because we truly enjoyed the food. The attentive service provided by the waitstaff and runners was the highlight of our experience. However, the only downside was the female host on the night of our first visit; she was quite unpleasant and unfriendly. My suggestion would be to change the host. I mention that she was a woman because on our second visit, there was a male host who was much friendlier. We hope more people discover this wonderful restaurant and do not encounter the same host during...
