BED BUGS! DO NOT GO HERE! I stayed at this hotel for two nights and left with bed bug bites. Aside from this hotel being very noise, they have bed bugs and are very unprofessional. The second night there I felt the bites late at night as I was sleeping. When I left and came back home they turned red and I was very itchy. I went to two dermatologists and confirmed they are bed hugs from the hotel and gave me cortisone creams. The dermatologist told me it’s will take over 2 weeks to heal and if they don’t heal I need to have a small procedure done if they get inflamed. I called the hotel to ask for a refund and they told me that the bed hugs are not from them and it’s from my bag. My bag was never near but was hanging on a wall both days. This makes 0 sense because the bed bugs bit me as I was sleeping. When we called the hotel they did not care at all and did not even say sorry. I emailed them and they never got back to me when I asked for a refund. I did not pay for a 4 star hotel to come back home with bed bug bites and waste more money on doctors to get prescribed cortisone creams. The worst hotel and would never come back here. I would post pictures of all my bites on both legs, but they are lucky I won’t show that part.
RESPONSE TO YOUR COMMENT* It is very sad how you are not accepting the fact that the bed bugs are from you. I knew you would not accept it. I hope no one stays at your hotel for their own good.
First off, I have emailed you informing you that medical records from the doctor are not easily released and it takes some time to be released (they told me 2 or more weeks). Their office manager and doctor are working on it. It’s confidential and medical records can’t be released as easily as they do in Greece. I will be sending you proof once I get it.
Second of all, I did feel an INTENSE amount of itchiness when I got bit and it was inflamed. I can provide pictures. This has never happened to me so I just thought it would be mosquito bites. Therefore without being sure it was bed bugs since I didn’t ask a doctor, that is why I did not inform the reception.
Third off, if you did some research and asked a doctor like I did, you would understand that bed hugs do not bite and come out every night. They are found in beds and come out whenever they get hungry (every 2 weeks mostly they come out). That is why I got bit the second night. I woke up that second night being very itchy but I did not think it would be that serious so I tried not to starch the bites.
Fourth of all, I came back august 10th late at night in New York. The next day the 11th I went to the dermatologist to see what is going on since I was could not stop scratching the bites and I was very uncomfortable. The doctor confirmed it was bed bug bites and the days ABSOLUTELY ADDED UP. Once I left the doctor I called the reception at the hotel and they were making up excuses and saying it came from my bag (August 11th). 0 sense made and I told them I would call back the next day to talk to someone in charge. My father and I called the next day the 12th and again they were not accepting the fact that it is bed bugs and told me to email you. That is when on the 13th I emailed you. So check the dates and be a little more professional. I DID NOT reach out on the 13th only.
Last, my bags were on the side of the room and were never touched while I stayed there. The bed bugs bit my legs while I was sleeping which makes sense. You and your employees are making stuff up and saying it’s from my bags. We all know that bed hugs are very often found in hotel beds, when proper sanitation and care is not being given.

Read moreThe hotel was nice and comfortable. The room cleaners were absolutely amazing, always did a good job and were very polite. The roof top pool bar was a cool feature as well and gave a great view of the area.
Overall the experience was good but the only thing that upset my family was the bar tenders and the kitchen. Up until the last few days they were good, we got what we asked for on time with courtesy, but we had an incident. We used their room service menu online to order a loaded fries. What came was nothing like the picture and was cold. We initially informed them it was cold and thinking they would just take it back they returned with a hot plate, as it seemed they threw everything in the microwave and blasted it. My wife and I weren’t impressed but as this was a simple matter we just ordered food from outside and I took the plate upstairs to the roof top bar and asked them to kindly take it off our bill as it was clearly not to satisfaction. The bar tender and server took complete offence and stated that this couldn’t be the wrong item as the chef designed the menu himself. I explained this wasn’t like the picture and they were upset and stating they can’t do anything about it. They said only management could do something. So we left it and told them we will tell management on check out. They later brought us a plate of vegetables as courtesy from the chef. As we were leaving they said that their website was hacked and that the hacker must have gone in and put the wrong pictures. They also said they would keep the fries on our bill as we were given a plate of vegetables, we said we didn’t ask for that. They then offered a few dollars off our drinks in exchange for not telling management. At this point I was so fed up and my sleeping baby that I was holding was starting to wake up so I agreed to just end it. From that point on the next couple of the days the same servers and bar tenders just ignored us and would roll their eyes at us so we no longer felt welcomed. There was mold in the douche, and the douche was very small, dated.||The room was reasonable clean.||We got two bottles free water, the minibar was empty.||The tv in the room was very small and limited international channels.||Last day we didn’t receive free water bottles, and the reception was quite rude, as they said only the first day it was free. While we got free bottles every day, we stayed 7 days.||The breakfast was fine, essentially the same every day. Selecrion was, just ok. Nothing special. It was more 3 star quality.||The a la card restaurant, had surprisingly reasonable prices. The food quality was fine, but not 4 star high quality. It was more normal basic restaurant.||The roof pool was ok, small, with one end quite deep 2m, and other part indeed 1m.||||The hotel is quite close to bus stops. Some good restaurants, shops are 5 minutes away.||A public beach is close by. But it is necessary to cross a busy road.||In the room the view was to see, but it was close to busy street. So some noice was there from cars, but with close windows, it was not an issue.||We had regular issues with the key cards to our room. ||||Overall the hotel is quite reasonable. But it is more like 3 stars, then 4 stars. The rooms slaan use some updates. The service I. The room can be improved with stack minibar, free water. ||The a la card restaurant can be better by serving more quality food.||A better selection for the breakfast would also make a difference.||||the hotel is around 1 hour away from the centre of Athens. the bus stops around every 15-30 minutes.
