Considering the location and proximity to Glyfáda and Athens, it’s a great beach to walk and swim.
You should watch the wind before swimming as southern winds tend to bring a bit of trash that float in the open sea, but more importantly creates waves that disturb the sandy sea bed making the waters a bit murky and not very transparent (when swimming with goggles for instance). Otherwise, for people living in the surrounding areas of the southern suburbs it’s a great escape for a quick swim!
There are showers and changing rooms for those wanting them, very close to public transport (Tram) and room for beach sports (racket playing for example) w/o disturbing people sitting or laying.
Umbrellas are free, but there are no beach beds available.
It’s not a sandy beach though, so you might want a beach mattress under your beach towel if you don’t...
