The most authentic chinese food I had in years I have lived in China for 8 years, and I love Chinese food. While living in Germany, I have been to many Chinese restaurants but none of them were authentic, they were more European-style Chinese food with less spices and flavor. On my trip with friends to Kalamata, we went to Beihai restaurant and found the most authentic Chinese food I have had in Europe. The owner is a Chinese lady who is really nice and friendly. We end up going to Beihai every evening till we left for Athens, because the food was just amazing- the same tasty food I used to eat in China. The lady serving us told us that they grow many of their Chinese-specific ingredients in their garden, so everything was so fresh. In Melbourne Australia we are lucky enough to have a great Chinese community that has been with us since the gold rush days. I've eaten at plenty of them back home and all are fantastic.
