Ellas cafe — Restaurant in Municipality of Kalamata

We found this fabulous restaurant by chance. It was an amazing find and totally unexpected. Why? It is small and cozy with a unique decor, a fabulous ambience and the coolest, friendliest staff. I mentioned to our brilliant waiter that our first impressions set the bar very high for the food to be equally fabulous. Two hours later and I can tell you it was. The mushroom risotto, the Cretian pasta dish and delicious apertisers are all highly recommended. A real treasure of a restaurant situated just behind the harbour waterfront. Μπράβο παιδιά...

Our visit here was one of the highlights of our holiday trip. Their "Different" gyros with whole-wheat pita and yoghurt dressing was incredibly tasty, as a "mushroom hater" I've tried fried mushrooms with local cheese and they were delicious!

The beer and rakija are cold, place is cozy and staff very friendly and kind

We were looking for a Greek tavern with a warm atmosphere and great food and we got a heck of a lot more than we expected.

One of the best spaghetti with shrimps I’ve ever had. Fresh and tasty prawns stewed to create a light but flavourful bisque. The spaghetti was the perfect al dente texture. Highly recommended for pasta and seafood lovers. We also had the meatball appetisers which were soft and juicy in the middle. The staff were kind and friendly and gave us cake on the house to complete our meal. Would be reminiscing the spaghetti for some...
