Βορέας Μεζεδοπωλείο - Μαγειρείο — Restaurant in Municipality of Kallithea

I have come back several times on my returns to Athens. Each time, I am welcomed with a warmth the Greek people are famous for. I really felt a sense of belonging. Run by a young Greek family they only care about beautiful food and making you feel like you are a part of their family. And the food is always so delicious.

This gorgeous restaurant was a 3 minute walk from our hotel, the Atheneum on an ultra busy road. The noise level was so low. I had the 3 pieces of pork souvlaki which was so tender and full of flavour. My companion had the beef patties which he was really happy with. Both meals came with chips, breads and a very tasty dip. I couldn't eat all my chips or bread, I was so full. Our waitress was so, lovely, friendly and helpful and the atmosphere so comfortable and easy. I must and will go back when I return to Athens. This restaurant is really a must wherever you are in Athens. Thank you from Lynn for a wonderful Greek food...

Ένα αυθεντικό μαγαζί στην καρδιά της Συγγρου (δίπλα από το Πάντειο Πανεπιστήμιο). Το μεζεδοπωλείο αυτό προσφέρει σπιτικές γεύσεις που σε κάνουν να νιώθεις σαν να τρως στο σπίτι της γιαγιάς. Οι μερίδες είναι γενναιόδωρες, τα υλικά φρέσκα, και η ποιότητα του φαγητού εξαιρετική.

Δοκιμάσαμε μοσχαρίσια κεφτεδάκια, χοιρινή τηγανιά, πατάτες στον φούρνο, κρητική ντάκος, όλα καλομαγειρεμένα, με μεράκι και νοστιμιά. Το σέρβις φιλικό και άμεσο, με ανθρώπους που φαίνεται πως αγαπούν αυτό που κάνουν. Η ατμόσφαιρα ζεστή και ανεπιτήδευτη, ιδανική για ένα λαχταριστό μεσημεριανό, ειδικά μετά από τις απαιτητικές πρωινές υποχρεώσεις.

Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα σε όσους αναζητούν καλό, παραδοσιακό φαγητό σε προσιτές τιμές, μακριά από τουριστικές υπερβολές. Θα...
