The worst place in Pigadia and in all Karpathos. We waited a long time to eat, considering the three customers they had. Everyone, from the waiters to the cook didn't know English. In general the dishes we order weren't good. We ordered the chicken souvlaki, after specifying to make it well cooked, this came totally raw. We ask if they can cook it again and they bring it back to us in a bag, this because they don't understand anything. Dish not eaten and bag left there. They didn't even say sorry or make a discount and also they charged for the dish that has not been eaten and that is left to them. I understand that the people of karpathos are inhospitable, not capable but I did not think up to this point. Dont worry i told to everyone that i know.

The tavern's host is very devoted in his work which is very inspiring to watch. For starters we orderd stuffed wine leaves which were great and aubergine saganaki which was beyond terrific and we would recommend it especially. I had to wait 45 minutes for my food, it didn't bothered me too much until the table behind me (who arrived later than me) already had there food. In the end I saw the pita bread going to another table and I asked to the older man for pita bread but he said, 'no only normal bread'..
