OK, it was the only restaurant in town open during our visit in March. Not exactly the high season in Karpathos and certainly not in Olympos, where we may have been the only visitors in town. It was cold and we stumbled in with what appeared to be friends and family spread out doing homework, drinking coffee, watching TV, etc. We asked if they were open and they quickly cleared a table and invited us to sit. There was no written menu and we simply asked for what was available. They brought us multiple dishes and took time to explain each, along with added comments from the other tables as well. Such a great experience with very nice people that were intent on sharing their food and traditions. Over several days we ate a few times and each meal was both great homestyle food as well as a great experience.
