It has been almost 20 years since I last came to this diamond of the North.

I am so glad that it feels like no time has passed... Still the same slow cooked, traditional dishes, served in a humble manner, and a true family feel.

The walls of the Koutouki are covered in history, vintage adverts,, photos of the iconic horse carriages, and the photo of Stelios Kazantidi on the wall (... Apparently he was also a fan)

I, of course picked the ozobouko with home-made mashed potatoes, and shared starter was the artichokes a la polita... heavenly

So glad that the third generation running this Koutouki has kept the authenticity of Grandpa Nikola, who founded this spot in 1960.

This is an authentic Kifissia experience... That you can always pair with Varsos for dessert after... Though, the Greek yoghurt with Honey and walnuts is as perfect a finish as one can ask for after such a feast.

Found this hidden gem on google when I searched for a traditional Greek family run restaurant in Kifisia.

I must say that i am extremely pleased with the overall experience.

The service was very good with the staff being very polite and helpful. They suggested nice dishes to try and even offered to make the portion size half ao that I can try two dishes.

The vibe of the place is perfect with lite music in the background and the lighting arrangement adds to the overall ambiance.

I was a bit early for dinner with not many guests but the place was full by 9pm.

A must visit to try authentic homemade style Greek...

Cozy restaurant located in a quiet neighborhood in Kifissia, Athens. The menu offers traditional greek dishes. There are daily plates also, which are offered by the personnel. I tried fried potatoes, Skordalia, Potato Salad and Chicken Soup, accompanied by homemade Raki. Everything was delicious but I have to single out the soup, which was awesome and reminded me of my grandmothers soup. Very comforting :) In my opinion, this restaurant is a must try if you are close by! Thanks to the staff for taking good...
