Veniero Kefalari — Restaurant in Municipality of Kifisia

A waiter greeted us very impolitely by joking no tables were available and then saying common buddy you can sit here. Took 5 minutes to bring us water after the waiter sat us down. Then he tried taking our order without giving us menus and we had to ask for them. After that he proceeded to forget our existence for the next fifteen minutes and only took our order after a gentleman which I assume was the owner told him that we had been waiting to long for an order. The 2 waffles arrived and one was cold, as of writing this we have finished our waffles but the third member of our party is still waiting for his cheeseburger. Very poor experience. Nice girl was inviting us and I expressed my disappointment from last night from restaurant next door, she said we are definitely better. I had pasta 🍝 with angus steak 18Euro. It was horrible salty. Ate little, but I couldn’t eat more. Than staff was asked me how is food, I said very salty - no reaction no apology. Asked for large bier and he completely ignored me. Waited for bill like 15-20min with no attention what so ever. Than I was offers cake as apology but I was already upset. No refund no partial refund offered no apology at the end. Very disappointing. What an elegant experience! 5/5*

I had the pleasure of visiting "Veniero" after a friend's recommendation. First of all, the experienced staff not only showed their high skills in hospitality (both friendly and well trained in service) but also represented the whole visual behind "Veniero's" owner!! Secondly, it's been a while since I last tasted such delicious Freddo-espresso coffee!! In addition to the tasting experience, I had the opportunity to taste the amazing red-velvet pancakes and a large portion of the classic club Sandwich! Highly recommended both of them!! Last but not least, the whole shop has high hygiene standards! (Food for thought)
