FAROS Seaside Bar Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Kos

Came here for an early evening drink and a meal. Menu very limited but chose what we thought would be tasty Greek dishes. Waitress was incredibly vague about what was in dishes, we asked out of curiosity what a greek breakfast consisted of (as it was on the evening menu) and with a shrug of the shoulders the answer was 'I dont know!' Even though we had asked for a definite starter and main course (with a break between them) everything got brought out together, along with half measures of the wine we had asked for. We sent the main meals back, only to be presented with all same food, cold, 30 minutes later. We asked for fresh food to be prepared, which was met with a scowl and a less than welcoming response. Not one apology and we wont be returning. We asked for red wine.... waitress who again, shrugged her shoulders and said she knew what the rose one was, would that do? Really really disappointing experience where we were made to feel very much less...

Worst experience in my life I wouldn't give them a 1 star rating. Went for an evening meal ordered a starter and two mains. They didn't have half the things on the menu. The starter came with one main course and the second main course didn't arrive with the food. I had asked for a few more minutes to make a choice of food as the dish wasn't available. We was told that we never specified we wanted to eat our main meal together and only took around 5 minutes to make another choice. The lady who was serving was so rude from the start she even forgot to bring us cutlery and they had the cheek to charge us for the food which wasn't anything special. AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU DONT WANT TO HQVE YOURE...

What a great place! The bay is beautiful and you have a wonderful view from the sunbeds. These can be rent for 10€/2 beds (which is pretty much standard in the region). Beer & coffee is a little bit pricey (5€) but you can get a Club Sandwich with fries for 10€ which is enough for 2 persons.

We went there on 3 days and one night because it was so nice. Pasta and fast food were tasty as well.

The service depends on temperature and daytime. Sometimes we got served at the sunbeds and sometimes not. Staff was always very polite and nice :)

The interior of the place is absolutely beautiful. You see a lot of beach bars on Kos but rarely are they furnished and arranged...
