When my girl and I walked past this place, it looked quite nice and cute. On the board outside, it said Greek night at 20h30, so we reserved a spot on a Saturday night. We thought the board said it started around 19h30, so we reserved a table at that time. After a few days, we came back to have our Greek night here and came to the conclusion that it started around 20h30 instead of 19h30, so we'd first started with some nice cocktails. We told the waiter we wanted to eat something later on. After 2 times that they came to our table while still drinking our cocktails, we told them we would call them when we knew what we wanted to eat. After 40 minutes, we called them, and the place started to get quite busy for the Greek night. They took our reservation, but they didn't seem happy with us not ordering our food on time and then paying for our things and making way for new customers. They were very impatient, and it felt like they only cared about the money (time is money in their eyes). When we got our starters, right after two minutes, we got our main course, so we told them they could take it back and make new ones since we didn't even take one bite of our starters. Again, it was very impatient. The Greek night itself was also quite late. Around 21h15 to 21h30, the show started instead of 20h30 as it was promoted on the board. The show itself was quite nice, but after our experience here, it felt like it was only about one thing, and that was not to let the customer experience the real Greek authenticity. The place is too big, the tables are too close to each other and the personell is only seeing euro signs. Too bad! We would recommend other lovely taverns that are family based and where they do care about you as a customer. The food was okay but more expensive than others within Kefalos. Next to that, they told us that they hadn't had some of the courses which were on the menu because the place was full and some of the food was sold out.

We visited on 10th August as a family of 3. Entertainment in this area of Kefalos is low key so this is a popular event. I booked a table via Facebook before going and we had a really good table. Service was great as it was really busy. They offer a reduced menu which allows them to manage this. It was €39 per adult for a 3 course meal and a drink. There is no additional cost for the entertainment as this is built into the menu price. The Children's menu was €19. The food was nice and plenty of it. We ordered an additional carafe of wine. I asked for a pitta bread for our daughter as she was hungry and no starter for children, this was not an issue. There is Greek dancing, singing and then audience participation which ends in plate smashing. Was a great night and we would highly recommend.

I ate here 3 times during my stay in Kefalos with my partner and this restaurant didn’t disappoint once! It was the first restaurant we ate at when we arrived and was one of the last we dined at during the ending of our holiday. The food is truly amazing, huge compliments to the chief, the owner and all the staff, our experience at Santa Barbara was incredible. Would highly recommend you check this restaurant out if you’re in the local area, thank you so much for having us!

Someone told us that pizza here was good, so we decided to try it and we happened to go on saturday night, not knowing that there was the greek night and the prices were higher than usual. At this point we decide to go away but the boss invites us to sit back down saying that making pizza for us was absolutely not a problem, but that it would take some time. We waited 1hour and a half: both pizzas were mediocre, the cheese on top wasn't good and had a weird bad taste. As we are paying the waitress says that the 2 pizzas were 36€, 18€ each, CRAZY. As soon as we ask for explanations they say to us that that was the price because of the "special night" BUT NO ONE TOLD US ANYTHING IN THE FIRST PLACE. Another scam, soft drinks cost way too much compared to other restaurants and tavernas, here coca cola costs 5€, in other places nearby 2€. Staff was really slow and chaotic and other people stood up and walked away angry. TO AVOID...

If I could've given it no stars, I would. Shocking attitude by who and can only think is the owner, the way he angrily bossed the rest of the staff around. We went for the Greek night, ordered our drinks and food, drinks arrived but over 45 minutes later, still no food. Whilst others around were tucking into their meals, that had been ordered after ours. My wife went to ask, just in case it had been forgotten but he snarled and angrily growled at my wife, trying to turn it on us as though we shouldn't ask. Would certainly not put up with that at home, don't think it should be any different abroad, when your spending your hard earned money. Absolute disgrace and would avoid at all cost. You want to come away and enjoy your time, not to screamed at by the owner just because we asked...
