George Garden — Restaurant in Municipality of Kos

Looking for somewhere a little different we went to George gardens. It's a snack bar so dont expect an extensive menu. However the food you will get is made to order so dont be in a rush. Everything is made from scratch, even the chips are home made. I went for the fillet of chicken and chips, my wife the chicken souvlaki and chips. Well worth the wait is an understatement, it was excellent. Haven't had chips like that since living at home with my mum. The owners are brilliant, spending time to chat and give advice on how to find places if you ask. Best Food we had in Kos! It is not that conventional / modern Restaurant but rather an authentic snack bar where you can have drinks or, If you ask for it, awesome homemade dishes, as you would probably get them from your greek mother or grandmother. Why is that so? Because everything is freshly prepared and served by the lovliest elderly lady.

Just to make it clear: It's the wrong adress when you are looking for fancy Restaurants.

I hate tomatoes, but when you order a Greek salad here, the tomatoes will be from George's garden and taste wonderful
