Taverna Tsambala — Restaurant in Municipality of Kos

It is a consolidated review of two visits. First was ok. Seconde one terrible. We have a 6 year old kid. You should know you have to serve quite fast if there are kids. It took ages.... Table next to us. A Brittish family, same issue. At least their dessert was offered for free. We paid asap and went for an ice cream in the city. We had a kids menu which basically includes an ice cream but skipped it. We even didn't asked for it. We saw how many time it took to get a dessert served, to the table next to us. We went to this place for an evening meal as a family, the atmosphere was good and the staff were friendly however once we ordered, the food took a fair bit of time to arrive and when it did there was a meal missing and when questioned the waiter said it would be a few minutes and when it arrived it was NOT what I ordered, the lamb was unseasoned and the potatoes ontop was just boiled separate and not baked with the meal as described, I left this meal as the rest of the family had already finished and I just insisted on leaving but I will give the waiter his dues.......he did try and offer me some cake and ice cream (im diabetic) so I just got the bill, paid and left (but no price reduction on...

We were impressed with how the restaurant looked when we arrived and were excited to try the menu. Although it was on the pricier side for us, it was our last night and we decided to treat ourselves.

The starters came out quickly and were absolutely delicious, which made us hopeful for the rest of the meal. Unfortunately, the mains were a letdown.

They took quite a while to arrive, and when they finally did, we were really disappointed. The lamb was very fatty with only a few decent pieces, and the chicken seemed like it had been left sitting out — it was tough, dry, and had burnt bits that made it nearly inedible.
