Lithino — Restaurant in Municipality of Kos

After over an hour we were informed that they lost our order and apparently "it happens"(they say). It was busy but come on... how blind 3 waiters have to be not to notice a couple sitting without anything on the table for so long ?! and with empty glasses ?! Then another half an hour of wait. They preferred to take other guests payments or orders. After complain and when we nearly left the food arrived and was absolutely average 2.5 out of 5 the cute cat that next to us that we feed was happy but for us not warty of that time. The other places are much much tastier and more coordinated with waiting time.

One NOT honest sorry, NO free wine while we were waiting with nothing on, NO discount, NO manners, NO idea what waiter should and shouldn't do !!! I can cook much better ! One positive - cute cat otherwise...

All of the food was delicious and visually appealing. The staff were very friendly, but could have been more attentive, considering the small number of customers in the restaurant at the time. We had Moussaka, Giouvetsi, Pork Souvlaki and mixed boiled vegetables and they were all well prepared, seasoned, and very tasty. For dessert we ordered Baklava and received a huge wedge of it! It was enough for 2-3 people (in my opinion), which was great, because that's the number it was serving. Amazing food, amazing staff. Getting constant praise from everyone eating there. Their mascot bird "Periklis" is tons of fun and a great addition to the restaurant. Although open only on season they are definitely worth checking out even if you are local. The waiters are charming in a genuine way I have yet to meet on a restaurant constantly with a smile on their faces, and completely relaxed with customers, getting involved with them and even the cooking staff join if it's late hours.
