I wanted to eat a kebab, there was a beef one in the menu with village beef- sounded nice. I got a plate of 5 sausage like minced meat skewers dashed all over with chips/ frites. Waiter asked me to try them, but they looked bad inside- grey pulp, the waiter agreed to swap it for chicken gyros. The plate looked better, but the chicken was too salty, plastic and spongy like, the tzatziki was just yogurt with some cucumber, pita and chips were ok, but I wanted to eat some nice meet. I told the owner it tastes really bad, he started shouting at me, told me that I am the only one who does not like it- maybe because I was the only client. He said the chicken is not bio and that it cant be salty because they dont sallt it- does it mean it has to taste like rubbissh and maybe they salt the meat before they deliver, maybe you should taste what you sell? The only good experience I had from this visit is the kind waiter who apologized me for the bad experience, unlike the owner, who not only was rude but serves overpriced spoiled food. I did pay for it, by the way- did not...
Read moreWe ate here late on a Saturday night. The place was packed (you might need to book a table) and we were lucky to get the last table, and the owners favourite table. The owner is friendly and chatty, the waiting staff were attentive and genuinely cared about you. The food lived up to the high level of service. We had stuffed mushrooms, garlic bread, stuffed vine leafs (first time of having these and they were amazing) for mains we had tuna and a burger, the tuna was fresh from that day and so well seasoned. I had the stuffed beef burger. This was a huge piece of ground beef stuffed with peppers and feta. Because the beef was so light the cheese really set the dish off. Feel really sad that we leave in a few days and want to sample other places. This has to be in the top 3 places to eat in Kos. Thankyou for an amazing experience, we wish you all the best and hopefully will see...
Read moreThe extremely welcoming and friendly staff make this place a dining experience like few others. Right from the beginning they make you feel like part of the furniture, going above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. You could tell as more clients came in that they were repeat clients, which is usually a good sign. My wife had the grilled Dorado, which looked and tasted nice, and I had the mixed grill for one. Most of the mixed grill was average apart from the burger, which was nicely seasoned. My daughters had a pizza, which was again pretty average. Arguably, this is a fish restaurant so I shouldn't expect too much from the other meals. The setting is beautiful and the staff are fantastic, if this is what you want from your meal then this is the...
