Marina Cafe — Restaurant in Municipality of Kos

I've never experienced anything like this before. The staff couldn't handle the crowd, and as a result, everyone had to wait for hours for their food. After asking several times where our order was, we kept receiving the same grumpy response: "It's on its way." After waiting for 1.3 hours, we received the wrong burger with cold fries and a Caesar salad with extremely large chunks of cheese. When we pointed out that the burger was incorrect, they took it back, scraped off the cheese sauce and vegetables, and handed it back to us. Once again, I've never encountered anything like this before. Eventually, an older woman angrily shouted that we had no knowledge of quality. We paid the bill and left. Stay far away...

Great experience. Went there for breakfast and dinner after going first to the Skipper Restaurant next door and being thoroughly disappointed with the quick arrogant and rude conduct towards the guests.

In total contrast, the Marina Cafe, especially one of the servers, Chris, really made the extra effort to be very polite, inviting, kind and creating a wonderful environment. We went there for breakfast, after leaving the Skipper restaurant, dur to the kind smiling and quite authentic invitation to come to try to their place. I can only praise them for their authenticity, good food and drinks, and service that really goes that extra mile!

We had dinner last night. We chose the Greek platter for 2 thinking it would be a good mix of authentic Greek food. It was served lukewarm. The miussaka was old in that it had been made earlier and reheated in the microwave so that some bits were warm and others cold. The chips were old too. Double fried or cooked earlier and left to stand The Greek salad and tzatziki wete about the only nice bits. We were very disappointed as we have had hundreds of Greek meals in l9cal restaurants throughout Greece and this was probably the worst. I...
