I spent two absolutely wonderful days here! After arriving in Kardamena for a day, I was looking for a nice place to relax – and I’m so glad I found this one. I enjoyed it so much that I came back one more time. Even if you don’t stay in Kardamena, or you’re coming by bus, it’s definitely worth the trip!
Staff: The team at Malibu are very welcoming and friendly – they really make you feel comfortable.
Beach: Sunbed prices felt reasonable (8€/12€, depending on which type you choose). I appreciated that the beds were spaced out better than what I had seen directly at Kardamena beach bars. The entrance to the sea is a bit rocky, so sea shoes are a good idea for older visitors or those with sensitive feet. The beach is separated from the bar by a road, but traffic is minimal so it doesn’t bother at all. There’s also a shower available right on the beach.
Pool & Bar Area: I didn’t use the pool myself, but it looked very nice and lively – lots of people enjoying their time there, which says a lot. The bar plays music, creating a nice atmosphere, but on the beach it’s much quieter, which I personally really liked. The food I tried was tasty, and the bathrooms by the pool were clean...
Read moreLocation is great and the beach is beautiful. There are rocks in the water but two clear passages have been made out into the water to ensure you can get to the deep water without stubbing your toe. We had two beds and an umbrella for the afternoon which cost €10. We didnt eat or have drinks so cannot rate that. The big tragedy of this place is thats its terribly dated, stuck in the eighties in its decor and choice of music which is blasted so loudly you cannot fully enjoy the beauty of the location, its even worse when you go out to swim as the music travels out over the water. Two places further up the road are priced the same without the terrible loud music destroying the natural sounds of the sea and coast. Wouldnt come back to this...
Read moreGreat place, we mainly used it for the super comfy sunbeds which are about 4 feet from the sea on the malibu's own beach, it has best view for bathing. Its really quiet on the beach most people are just sleeping and you can run over to bar to get refreshments whenever you need and use the toilets there also. The sunbeds on the beach cost 10€ for 2 of the super comfy ones, and 6€ for 2 of the comfy ones. And you get Wifi code when you pay for the beds and works perfectly for web browsing etc, Large beer is 4.50€ for lowenbrau, bottle of coke 3€, cup of tea is 3€ and...
