Omilos Beach Bar Cafe — Restaurant in Municipality of Kos

I love this beach. It's a bit on the side from the beach closer to Kos Town. I was here a lot 2017-2019 and the atmosphere was better then, because of the people working there. The waitress working the beach now has zero service mind. Unfriendly really. The tuna sallad i had was not worth 9 euro. It was tuna mixed with mayonnaise and some lettuce and 3 olives. Very chill and relaxed beach bar. 30 or so pairs of sun loungers with a wee restaurant area at the back. Free to use the loungers as long as you buy a drink, servers come to you. Io e il mio compagno ci siamo capitati di passaggio, lettini non a pagamento, ci accomodiamo e arriva la cameriera che prende l'ordine e ci porta 2 moijto, paghiamo e fin qui tutto bene... Ci alziamo per andare via dopo qualche ora, la cameriera ci blocca chiedendo se l'abbiamo pagata, noi stupefatti gli diciamo di sì, iniziano ad accusarci di non aver pagato, chiama la sua collega, ci portano dal proprietario trattandoci come dei ladri, noi mostriamo lo scontrino, i soldi del resto, cerchiamo di farci capire (l'inglese lo mastichiamo poco) e ci rispondono che o parliamo inglese o loro nemmeno ci ascoltano!!! Dopo mezz'ora di estenuanti spiegazioni gli porgo altri 20 euro per ri-pagare e il titolare li rifiuta dicendo che ha cancellato l'ordine perché non sapeva se avevamo ragione noi o la cameriera.....una vicessitudine che ha dell'incredibile!!!
