DELON PUB — Restaurant in Municipality of Kos

A lovely laid back pub with a very pleasant atmosphere and good pricing. If you like to watch sports (football, F1 etc. This is the place to go. Their chairs are phenomenal, and they've got Guinness on draught, the best on the island.) The host and hostess are absolutely delightful people, who'll serve you the best of drinks and are happy to have a chat with you. Upon leaving after spending a couple of evenings there (it was our final evening on the island) the host and hostess brought out a special present for my girlfriend to take home. I've been around the world and this was by far the best experience i've had in any pub around the world.

Watched the Ireland Tonga world cup rugby match here on Saturday 16th September 2023. Our host Kostas was very enthusiastic and excitable, and made us very welcome, although I suspect we stressed him out from time to time with our manoeuvres to get good seats to watch the game. sorry Costas. Screens were good although the satellite signal was occasionally quite ropey, but generally good. The background music of mainly early 70's songs mixed in with the rugby commentary made the experience somewhat surreal. The delon pub is just what I was looking for. They serve draught cider, sport on TV and the have a lovely covered in roof for when the sun is blazing down on you. Went here in the heat of the afternoon to be able to enjoy a well served drink with very pleasant comfortable surroundings. Returned this evening to have a couple more drinks and to enjoy the football.

It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but seriously if you have nothing nice to say then why say anything. The staff/owners are very attentive and they try to give you a good experience. Personally they succeeded. Will be returning...
