Thomas Grill & Meze by Skala — Restaurant in Municipality of Kos

For me its the best restaurant in Kardamena. Loved the delicious Moussaka and the kind effort of the team in the first try so much that I went back 4 or 5 times in 2 weeks, never regretting it. Even with the full house in the evening they served nice meals with great service. The prices are not high, cost-benefit also regarding quality was doubtlessly the best I could find in Kardamena. Also remarcable, the next door bar seems to belong to the same owners, sometimes having nice live open-air singing Abba-cover shows, and supplying the bewerages to the restaurant. Went for a meal as this restaurant was recommended to us by some locals, our taxi driver and the hotel staff! Well I must say it was incredible the atmosphere was amazing and many people wanted to eat here!! We were lucky to eat here as we didn’t book a table (if you do go here then definitely book a table!!) it was only lucky that we got to eat here as it was very busy. The food was delicious and the portions were very friendly, I must say I was beaten by the food. We went on a Thursday which meant live music, the band playing was great as most people got up to sing along with them and dance which created a fun atmosphere! Definitely would recommend if you are staying...

Had a really nice time at this restaurant situated by the water - the view’s fantastic, especially if you enjoy a bit of people-watching. The food and drinks were just great! We tried the “Mamma Mia” and the Mai Tai, which was served in a cool glass. Both were good choices, and we also enjoyed the Meze for two, with helpful recommendations from our waiter. Prices were more than fair!

Shoutout to Theo at the front, who’s involved with Cats of Kardamen. It was genuinely pleasant to hear about his efforts in taking care of the local cats - a sentiment my wife and I, as cat lovers, truly appreciated.
