Got the burger it was nasty meat was raw, its different with beef but when you have pork in the burger it should be cooked well done, we asked if we can have raw onion instead of caramelized onion and he said he'll ask the chef, it shouldn't be that hard to just cut a fresh onion if anything it's easier for the chef instead of cooking it, so they gave us spring onion instead, what a joke. Fries had no flavor besides the mountain of oregano they threw on them, the waiter gave of creepy vibes...why are you asking to shake my hand when I'm about to eat with my clean hands. Worst of all he demanded a tip. When we said no tip he caught a nasty attitude, maybe if you didn't make such a big deal about what I wanted on my burger I would've tipped but still food was bad definitely not worth 25 euro, terrible experience hopefully don't get sick from these place
update 1 hour later I vomited 3 times, my wife on the other hand only ate the toppings with out the patty she's okay thank God
And we noticed they over charged us. Burger was 10.50 for 2 burgers that's 21 euro...we also had sparkling water but the bill total came out 26.60.. no way the sparkling water was over 5 euro......
Read moreI had the most incredible dining experience at The Alchemist! The mixed grill I ordered was an explosion of flavors, perfectly cooked and accompanied by an equally delightful side dish. The attention to detail in the presentation and taste of the food was truly outstanding. To top it off, the addition of complimentary sweets and a bottle of drink was a delightful surprise, showcasing their dedication to customer satisfaction. The generosity extended even further as they provided a bottle of drink that left me impressed. The level of service was exceptional, akin to running out of petrol in your car and discovering a hidden gem along the way. And I can't forget to mention the exquisite local red wine they recommended, which complemented the meal flawlessly. If you're seeking an extraordinary culinary experience with exceptional service, I wholeheartedly endorse The Alchemist and their...
Read moreDecent place but a bit weird experience. The wine we were recommended didn't taste very good initially as it was very warm. After cooling it a bit it got better but the waitor kept trying to reassure whether we liked it or not but at the same time kind of accusingly pointed out that we could've returned it although we said it was okay. Also we got the mixed grill but received really small plates to eat it with and asked for bigger plates which was impossible to get although other people at the table received bigger plates for other dishes. Other than these "odd-ities" the food was good and the service otherwise was decent.
Would kind of recommend as a place by itself but with all the great other taverns close by I would say you should go there instead if there's not something you solely find...
