Grandma's — Restaurant in Municipality of Malevizi

While we were looking at the menu here, a family of 5 left the restaurant with all their plates still full of food on the table. We should have taken this as a sign... the staff was not very welcoming and we were waiting for quite some time before someone came over to take our order. We ordered an appetizer and two meals. It took a while for both to come out. The fried appetizers were not very tasty and were very overdone. The meals were also not to our liking - mushy, smothered in mayonnaise, not very good flavor. When my friend went up to pay and get a container to go the staff turned away and immediately told her the total before hearing what she was going to say. Keep in mind that our meals were served less than 10 minutes before this. We ended up taking the food to go and feeding it to some of the stray dogs that were nearby. The meals that were left at the table near us from that family were still sitting there and never cleared after around an hour. Отдыхали в сентябре 2019.В данную таверну попали случайно,т.к.отель находился близко.Интерьер очень скромный,но чисто.А самое главное-это кухня!Вот она то просто великолепна!Может быть кому то меню покажется не особо разнообразным(отсутствуют морепродукты),но это наверное не их специализация.Хозяева семейная пара 60+,сами готовят сами обслуживают.Опишу один эпизод.Весь день ездили на машине по острову.Приехали жутко голодные и заказали на четырех человек по порции на каждого(все разные блюда).Порции просто огромные!Осилили только три блюда,к четвертому не притронулись(обожрались!!!)Что тут началось!Прибежал хозяин,его супруга пытаясь выяснить почему мы не стали кушать это блюдо.С английским у нас оч.плохо,пытались объясниться на пальцах,не знаю поняли они или нет что мы просто больше съесть не можем.При следующем посещении и до конца нашего отдыха на столе стояла ракия,домашнее вино без ограничений,вкусные салаты за счет заведения.Было просто не удобно перед этой замечательной супружеской парой.Оставляли чаевые 20-30% от чека из уважения к этим людям.Цены демократичные от 5 до 9,5 евро за блюдо.Если владельцы таверны читают этот отзыв,огромный вам...
