The place is worth your time. Its neat, great and tasty food for a good price. There is also a nice selection. The staff is very nice, English speaking, helpful and friendly. They are ready to help with anything you need, with a smile. They can readjust the items on the menu no problem, so if you cannot eat onions or don't want more pita bread they will help out. I'm gonna point out again how friendly they are, so you can expect a nice experience. At least with the staff I found there at the time.

Simply delicious and inexpensive. We ordered a couple of local ales/lagers and had a gyro salad and what looked like a double-crusted pizza without the tomato sauce. We had enough leftover for tomorrow’s lunch. We chose to sit in the church courtyard which is rented from the church—cool evening breeze and sound of the church bells serenaded us as we ate. Far better than most restaurants we’ve had in Athens!

This is a great place across from the hotel Aethon. The food is very good, and you get a lot for your money. So, be careful if you aren’t hungry. I had the pork Souvlaki, one portion comes with 3 skewers, pita bread, fries and salad. The taziki sauce is amazing! The service is great. They do a lot of take out business, so you may have to wait, but it’s worth it.

We found this little restaurant--Kokkini Piperia--while staying at the hotel across the street and flying out the next morning. We didn't know what to expect and were very pleasantly surprised. Delicious food and service with a smile. Souvlaki was excellent, the salad deliciously fresh and loved the Cretan Dakos salad and grilled Cypriot halloumi.

Such a lovely and delicious dinner when we only had a quick night in town. Large portions, affordable prices, and outstanding quality! The staff were friendly, helpful, and clearly proud of the food and service they provide. We would eat here over and over again!

Very good food. I ordered the souvlaki dinner with salad, pitas, french fries all on 1 platter. Consumed a large beer, 50ml. Dinner took around 20 minutes so you know it was freshly made. Not busy at 17:00. Lots of take out happening. All locals.
