Amethystos Mykonos — Restaurant in Municipality of Mykonos

Very very disappointing! We chose this restaurant as our final meal after experiencing so many great meals everywhere we had been! Would not recommend this as a final stop! We ordered a coffee that was cold and explained this to the waiter! We ordered food including bread and asked for butter- apparently the restaurant do not have butter! When we went to pay the bill we explained that we were disappointed as the moussaka was cold but apparently everything was on cc tv and we had not shown any dissatisfaction so that was that ! The ‘waiter’ agreed to take off the cost of the coffee but then phoned the ‘owners’ who said we had to pay the full bill! Think the waiter and the owner were the same person ! Say no more don’t bother with this restaurant before the airport! Over priced and...

We’ve been there for dinner before heading to the airport. With no big expectations we ate really good dishes, like this fried liver with onions. For a guy from Veneto (Italy) like me, it was a challenging dish but they executed it very very well!

Maria is super nice and the service is really friendly and nice. Not super fast but definitely “on time”, quality needs some time.

The best local food experience I have had. The service was wonderful, it is an open space, clean, and the food was just what I was hoping to have when in Mykonos. Everything I ate hit the right spot; from the greek salad and tzatziki, to the grape leaves, to the cod, and the chicken soup. Absolutely delicious. Our server, Spiros (I don’t know how to spell his name) was an older gentleman and truthfully, he was kind and attentive and his suggestions where amazing.
