I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Compass Mykonos Restaurant, a hidden gem that boasts not only delicious cuisine but also stunning sunset views. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the exceptionally friendly staff, setting the tone for a delightful evening.
The restaurant's location is perfect for those seeking a picturesque dining experience. Situated right on the waterfront, it offers an unobstructed view of the horizon, making it the ideal spot to watch the sun dip below the waves.
The staff at are some of the friendliest I’ve ever encountered. They were attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely enthusiastic about ensuring we had a wonderful time. Their warm smiles and prompt service significantly enhanced our dining experience.
The menu offers a delightful mix of local specialties. We started with an assortment of Greek appetisers and fried feta.
Dining at Compass Mykonos Restaurant was an absolute pleasure. The combination of delectable food, breathtaking sunset views, and outstanding service makes it a must-visit. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this restaurant promises a memorable evening that captures the essence of seaside dining. I highly recommend making a reservation around sunset to fully enjoy the...
Read moreVery rude staff. We are in mykonos every Saturday night because we work on a cruise ship that docks there, there are much nicer places that make you feel much more welcome, don’t go here. From the moment we walked in and they asked if we had a reservation, which we didn’t have, it was as if we were a nuisance to them. The judging looks carried on the whole time we were there. After asking 3 times they finally took our order. The food came fast and was good, but we were made to feel completely uncomfortable by the staff. When we asked for the bill, they said you need to go upstairs to pay. We wanted to actually look at the bill before paying so asked for it to be printed out. After another sigh and eye roll and they gave us the bill. They had overcharged us, so of course we disputed it, after more eye rolls they took the extras off the bill. Not a nice experience, although the food was good, we didn’t enjoy our evening here. As I said, there are many more tavernas that will actually make you feel welcome and like valued customers. I will definitely not...
Read moreThis was my favorite restaurant in Mykonos for the 4 days I was here. My wife and I got 2 appetizers - Bruschetta with Country Bread, and the Fried Feya Cheese. Both were excellent especially the fried feta. It was encrusted with sesame seeds and drizzled with honey.
For our dinner, we shared the Compass Seafood Platter and it was absolutely incredible. It was the best seafood I ever had. The octopus was unbelievable and had incredible flavor. There were 2 other white fishes that were also absolutely amazing. The platter also came with muscles which were very good, and also grilled squid which was also good. The lobster was good too but I'm used to Maine lobster from the US which I prefer over Mediterranean lobster. The vegetables were also very good. Everything was awesome and I can't recommend this seafood platter enough.
The service was phenomenal and the sunset view here was the best yet. In my opinion, this sunset was better than in Little Venice or on the south part of the islands at the...
