I recently visited, and I must say that my experience was quite disappointing. I would like to provide some feedback regarding certain aspects that left a negative impression on me. Firstly, the prices at Jimmy's Fish Restaurant were unreasonably high considering the overall dining experience. The menu items were overpriced, Most of the meals on the menu do not exist and the quality of the food did not justify the cost. It was disheartening to pay such a substantial amount of money and not receive a satisfying culinary experience in return. (It is better to make this comparison not with restaurants in Turkey but with those here. It is of course cheaper than in Turkey.) Secondly, the behavior of the restaurant staff was quite off-putting. I encountered rudeness and impoliteness from multiple employees throughout my visit. Their lack of professionalism and disregard for customer service left a sour taste in my mouth. It's important for any establishment, especially a restaurant, to prioritize customer satisfaction and treat guests with respect and kindness. Another disappointment I encountered was the bread stale. It was noticeably stale and lacked the freshness one would expect from a reputable dining establishment. Something as basic as serving fresh bread can significantly impact the overall dining experience, and in this case, it fell short. Overall, my experience at Jimmy's Fish Restaurant was far from enjoyable. The combination of exorbitant prices, rude staff, and stale bread left me dissatisfied and...

This is without a doubt the most unfriendly and inhumane restaurant on the entire island. The so-called "Greek hospitality" is nowhere to be found here. What I experienced was absolutely disgraceful — and discriminatory.
I was turned away three times, all while being in a wheelchair. The first evening I went there, there were two empty tables, but I was told they were unavailable due to “busyness” and “reservations”. Fine, I accepted that.
The next morning, I went back specifically to ask if I could reserve a table. The owner told me they don’t take reservations, and said, "Just come at 8:00 PM and you’ll have a table." I trusted his word.
But that evening — on time and in my wheelchair — I was refused again, this time with the excuse that “large groups” were coming. When I pointed out that they don’t accept reservations, he gave me a dismissive gesture and a nasty smirk. Completely disrespectful.
The worst part is that I had promised my family a nice dinner by the boulevard. Instead, I was treated like a problem, simply because I use a wheelchair. This is not something you expect in a holiday destination — or in any decent restaurant, for that matter.
My advice: avoid this place if you value respect and dignity. Especially if, like me, you travel with a physical disability. Spend your money somewhere you're treated like a human being,...
Read moreLet me be straight: don’t eat here. Apparently the owner and his head waiter didn’t get the memo about the world renowned Greek hospitality. I’ve been throughout Greece for decades and eaten at thousands of places, and Greek hospitality and respect are in abundance. Not here. The owner and his head waiter are rude and exhibit an attitude that you should be grateful to them that they are allowing you to eat there. The place is packed with Turkish tourists who regularly come in droves in ferries via the short ride from Turkey. Most Greeks would never frequent such a place. Service was terrible and food overpriced. They do a bustling business and it is not a small place. Therefore we were quite surprised when they informed us that they only accept cash, no credit cards. This is unheard of for a place doing such a volume of business. Another local Greek restaurant owner told us this usually indicates intentional tax evasion since transactions cannot be tracked. He also said that a receipt is required by law whether cash is used or credit card. We did not get a receipt. There are numerous other restaurants in the area that are better options. Go dine and support one of those...
