Litridi Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Mytilene

A perfect location by the sea - and they aim to be a more high-end restaurant with an “asian cusine” kitchen. That is reflected in the prices and the athmosphere.

The food looks really good - but is (sorry to say) tasteless without flavour. The most used and powerful ingredient is the “sweet chili sauce”. No wow experience, no acid, no power, no hot or umami experience here. The best was the asian platter for two (pic 3) 39€ in total. The Red Dragon ‘salad’ was basically a cold pasta dish. It was with a completely flavourless peanut sauce. Lacking every spice. The Bao Buns was also only flavoured with sweet Chili Sauce and the duck Meat was way to chewy.

For the price - the food and taste is not worth the money.

The staff is really kind but very inexperienced. We bought a bottle of wine - but not once did they come by to refill the glasses or ask to the quality of the food. (Only 10 guests in total)

Furthermore 2 of the staff (boys/guys) looked at their phones...

Superb! Really enjoyed everything, we almost had it all on the meny over the times we ate there, was perfect every single time, nice meat, delicious fishplatter and the choclate fantasy dessert.. amazing! Best dessert ive ever had🤩

And the view, just brilliant! I prefered to visit a little bit earlier for dinner because its an amazing view over the ocean sitting just a meter from the water, and it gets a little dark later but it was also super cozy! Early for the food and then when the dark arrives, move to the cozy area for drinks, a tip! 🥳

Pleasantly greeted. Beautiful atmosphere. 45 minutes to place an order and get our drinks. No one cleared the table in between courses. Meals were not served to guests at the same time. No one ever came back to the table to ask if any more drinks were needed or how the food was till the end when the check was dropped. As far as the food goes, it is the second time that we’ve dined at the restaurant. The first experience was basically the same as the second, the food was average at best with absolutely no “wow” experience.
