Panorama — Restaurant in Municipality of Nafplio

In Tolo, the overall quality of restaurants is quite high, and Panorama Resto is no exception. We ended up here almost by chance, as we couldn’t get a table at the popular Maria’s next door, and Panorama turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. Its terrace sits just below Maria’s, offering a beautiful view over the bay and the small island in front of Tolo — perfect for a relaxing dinner.

We ordered fish dishes, and everything was excellent: the sea bass, salmon, and calamari were all cooked with care, well-seasoned, and served with tasty sides like boiled vegetables, beans, and fresh salads. One of the highlights was the traditional Greek pasta — tiny, rice-shaped pieces we hadn’t tried before — absolutely delicious and unexpected.

The wine selection is honest, both in quality and price, and the overall bill was very reasonable. The staff is warm and welcoming, which adds to the experience.

The most amazing experience I had for a long time. The photographs you see posted in other reviews have been taken before the renovation. The bathrooms were so clean and they even had hygiene products for women. The owner of the restaurant comes himself in your table to take your order and talk to you. We were in the middle of an argument with my friends regarding the salad we are going to order and he brought us both of them charging only the one.

Regarding the food.. ah.. I work in Mykonos for years now and I have tried way to many different super expensive Mediterranean restaurants and let me tell you, I have never tried a more value for money restaurant.

The menu is brand new and their portions are huge. Everything is very well cooked and you can tell that there is a tone of thought behind every dish. I think is THE best option in the whole era and I don’t even talked to you...

First bad dining experience in Greece. Right up front I was told the soup would take another 40 minutes. So I had to pick something else. Had to wait a long time for food..never got asked for refils on drinks. After we finished it took 10 minutes before we could als for the bill. Had to ask 3 more times over 25 minutes. Saw barman and 3 servers just having beers at the bar. Asked for a 4th time before they finally came. Then it took 10 more minutes to calculate the bill for them. Food was not to my liking. But it could just be that it was not to my taste, but was traditional Greek, so I won't be to hard on that. Guests didnt much like their food either. Great atmosphere, great view. But dat down 2 hours for a 20 minute meal.

Drinks were good. Got a free sweet desert. Also not my taste but...
