Patatosporos — Restaurant in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

Let's cut to the chase. The only reason you should consider booking a table here is to eat on the beach and watch the sunset. The food is really mediocre at best and their "fresh" but not really fresh fish and lobster is NOT worth it. We ordered the lobster pasta because a few reviews down the picture Melissa posted looked good with lots of cherry tomatoes. We got approx 5 or 6 cherry tomatoes, the lobster was frozen (texture weird) and the sauce tasted store bought. See photos and compare it to Melissa's review photo. So disappointing given the other reviews I've read. Not worth the 60 euros for the pasta. If you want fresh seafood, please go to Apanemi! That place is worth every cent. Most unfriendly staff that I have seen in these five days in the island. Was with my partner and both ordered starter but his arrived first and the waiter was carrying mine (clams) but bring to another table and then came back to the kitchen with mine. So I assumed that was a mistake and talked with the waiter which told that mine was not ready, but then in any case why bring one starter first then another? As every single time that I ate in Greece they had bring together as normal in most of European countries. So I waited for more ten minutes and also very long for the main dishes in a typical Monday. Wonderful place! Out of all the restaurants I tried in the area ( which was most of them) this is by far the best in terms of quality of food, flavour and how it’s presented. Everything is perfect down to the smallest details. I eat out a lot and have high standards and felt non of the other restaurants quite hit the mark apart from this one which I ended going back to twice which is something I never do.
