Spent a lovely 5 days in Naxos and stumbled into their café on our first morning for a breakfast. We had the Kalimera which is an assortment of bread, mini croissant, jam, local honey, and frappe and freddo cappuccino and it was exactly what we needed after the long flight and ferry ride from Athens.
We then proceeded to order something -every day- sometimes multiple times. We bought a full loaf of their bread to have back at our hotel for breakfasts with more of the honey, and started every day with more cold espresso. Mid day slushies and after dinner slushies were also staples of our short trip (again every day)
We tried an assortment of small pastries, the orange cake is to die for and probably the best dessert I had on the island, overall everything from here is absolutely delightful.
To top off the great food and seaside service were the staff and owner - just as delightful as their treats, always welcoming and friendly making us feel right at home on the island. Our very last stop before our 9 ferry back home was here for one least freddo cappuccino, to say goodbye and thank you for making us feel so...

But alas, my vacation has been filled with trying foods and frankly over eating as we try all the delicious foods on our holiday. I was only here for the coffee. It you like mocha lattes or mocha coffees, well, we’ve had trouble finding it generally in Greece. The closest we came to it is a place with mocha coffee and plain lattes, but couldn’t make mocha lattes. So when I asked what the difference of cappuccino freddo and the freddocino, I was told that the freddocino was a cold chocolate coffee. Score! Right? I ordered for my husband— he can only drink mochas because he needs the chocolate to cover up the taste of coffee. The drink came out and was an ice blended drink. I am not sure if there was coffee in it because I couldn’t taste the coffee and I love coffee. It was very watered down. When I asked about the specialty donuts like the honey cinnamon and the toffee, he said it is only available at 6pm at night, but he offered the sugar donuts...

I wouldn't have thought it because it's one of those restaurants all next to each other with not special outer signage that would've pulled my attention to it but we sat down there because they had big screens for the Soccer World Cup games and that's the first pro. The food (we had sandwiches, waffle with cream and a crepe as well as Naxian lemonade) was very delicious and not too expensive which I wouldn't have thought because they're offering many different things. Obviously we catched the best stuff from the menu OR they're just really good at what they have in the menu. Either way I was satisfied. Staff is very friendly and reacting funny to rain which seems to not happen that often there :) Seating was also comfortable to stay there a...
