I am really sorry for this, I would have gave 4-5 stars, because the food was good and the prices ok. The problem is the attitude of the waiters and the way the are organised. We have ordered (beside food) two STUPID tonic waters, to one of the boys. Another boy comes with our order and only ONE tonic water. 5 minutes later, my husband makes a sign to that boy but someone else comes, and my husband told him we ordered 2 tonics but only received one, the boy says "yes yes yes" and he came back with TWOMORE tonic waters :) At some point, someone else comes and asks us if everything is ok, so we explain that we ordered 2 tonics but ended up with 3, so if it is ok to take one back to the kitchen (one that was sealed, not even touched), he says ok, and takes one tonic back. We finished eating, and the first boy that took our order came with the bill, that included 3 tonic waters (what a surprise), so I try to explain the situation. I didn't even manage to fully explain, and he says very irritated "lady, I have 3 tonic waters in the bill, you pay for 3 tonic waters" The price was not the problem, and mistakes happen, but the attitude was so wrong! So I tried one more time to explain slower and clearer the whole situation, and the boy makes a sign to his boss probably asking for permission to "let me go with an unpaid tonic water", which, in turn, makes a weird hand gesture with a very disgusted expression on his face, implying "let her go". Finally, I pay the bill (the food and only 2 waters), of course I did not leave any tip, and I told the waiter to realize what a situation was created for a tonic water, and that I don't think anyone would go through such a complicated scene during their vacation just...
Read moreIf there was room for more than 5 stars for service, I would select that option. This service extends to the cashier's and the line cooks that prepare the food in front of you. It truly is a place for real food for real people. No pompous waiters making you feel guilty, no hidden charges. I frequent this place often for 9 months (except summer when it's a little overcrowded) for a reason. As for the food, I love it, and it has a 90% consistency rate for quality and when it doesn't they will rectify it gladly when they can without question. They also have an array of traditional decisions in their 'hidden' menu that I ask for which are well done in the sense that they are not as heavy as other restaurants on the island. They also run a more upscale restaurant just next door which is also excellent with great service. For a first time visit with a group, try what I call their mountain of meat, as it makes for a great picture with the backdrop and will have you consistently patting your stomach. Did I mention the water front view...
Read moreCame here at 00:30. Wanted to eat something before we went to sleep since we had a busy day and didn’t have time to eat dinner. This place wasn’t crowded at all at that time. We ordered chicken gyro, kebab gyro, and chicken skewer. We saw the price for gyro was 2.50 euro so I asked the size of it and waiter said about the size of a smart phone. So I though pretty small and won’t be stuffed before going to bed. Let me tell you I was wrong! The size of much bigger than expected! My belly was popping hen I finished eating my gyro! I couldn’t breath! My gyro was great but my husbands kebab gyro was absolutely delicious! Get the kebab gyro!!! I wish I got that instead of my chicken. It is perfectly seasoned and meat is perfectly cooked. For three plates of food and a sprite drink we paid under 10 euros! Can’t beat that. Definitely a...
