Romantic Dining under the "Magic Tree"

This cozy spot at Plaka Beach is about to emerge as the top location for those who are craving for homemade Greek cuisine with a twist. Ingredients are all local, freshly prepared for an intriguing range of delicious dishes (vegetarian, fish, meat, pasta).

For starters we ordered Naxiotiki salad with unique components such as pickled Mizithra and Kritamo cheese - accompanied by variations of freshly baked bread. In advance, we were served a refreshing amuse geule of Hellenic-inspired Gazpacho.

Delightful main courses were "Herb crusted salmon with apple purree and lemon coulis" and "Greek Pasticcio a la minute with slow-cooked beef". The first one was arranged beautifully in a star cuisine style and tasted just as delicious as the second one which seemed to have been cooked by a Greek mama for her best friends.

Service was charming and attentive, so we decided to cap off the evening by strolling over to the bar. The menu ranges from modern classics to signature cocktails. We tested both, including an outstanding 'Bramble' (decorated with fresh berries) and a tangy 'Citrus Delirium' made of Tanqueray Rangpur, the local Kitron liquor, ginger and basil.

What a night to remember! So, make sure to reserve in advance in order to get the perfect table...

They didn’t have more sun beds so we had to sit at one in the front like penguins and when we asked for the price of it they said 35€ for umbrella and 20€ per person. So we had to pay more than the couple next to us who both had a sunbed for themselves and had to sit uncomfortably while paying 115€ for this. I’ve been to Mykonos Santanna bar and we paid just a bit more for an excellent beach with excellent service. The service was full with irony and the beach had nothing to give. It was windy and full with people. You cannot charge people so much for an awful time at the beach for which you cannot provide. Awful...

A must try while on Naxos!!!

We had the absolute pleasure of having our rehearsal dinner and wedding ceremony at Yucca.

The rehearsal dinner was an cozy intimate atmosphere, with many of our guests still raving about how delicious the pork and sea bass were.

Our ceremony and cocktail hour were nothing short of magical. Down to the delicious lemonade and hand crafted cocktails.
