Γαλάζιος Παράδεισος — Restaurant in Municipality of Northern Corfu

I can highly recommend this place with nice atmosphere by the sea side, very friendly staff and absolutely tasty, traditional greek cuisine!

I've been here once on our trip in June and then again twice on our September trip - on every occasion we had the mixed seafood platter for two persons. For 42€ in total you then get a huge plate of a large variety of very high quality grilled seafood products (two types of fish, calamari, baby squids, mussels, octopus and prawns). The side dishes also were included (grilled vegetables and baked potatoes).

On every occasion we were also served some small starter (two types of fresh bread with garlic butter and olive pesto), as well as some small dessert (some pudding with chocolate sauce) for free!

The atmosphere is also great - the small tables with the beach view are charming and rustic. Both the waiters and the owner of the place are incredibly warm and friendly. Service always was quick...

This restaurant was without a doubt one of the highlights of our trip to Corfu. I don’t think my wife and I have ever gone five times to the same restaurant during a holiday before – that says it all!

The location is simply breathtaking, set right by the beautiful sandy beach of Agios Georgios. Every meal came with not only authentic Greek and Corfiot flavors, but also stunning sea views that made the experience even more memorable.

The food is outstanding: the portions are generous, the quality is excellent, and the prices are very fair, offering real value for money. It felt like genuine home-cooked Greek hospitality on every plate.

The staff made the whole experience even better – extremely friendly, warm, and welcoming. A special mention goes to Meletios and Maria, who took such good care of us throughout our visits.

Well, after reading the reviews we expected more: the food was ok, but compared to the other restaurants we had tried in Agios Georgios it was a bit disappointing: the meat was chewy (beef instead of veal), rice & vegetable plate greasy, spaghetti were penne chilled red wine from the fridge (!!) and the seasoning quite boring. It was the 1st time during our holidays that even our kids pushed away their plates. 2 stars for the food. Part of the service was very accommodating and would deserve a 5 star rating (but only one of the staff members). Pity, as we even got a free Ouzo and a small dessert, but these very friendly gestures could not really compensate...
