WOW......No words can describe the location, staff friendliness, atmosphere. Let me try..... 1st the over the top warm friendly welcome from Costatino, who informed my partner and I that there may be a 10/15min delay in taking our order due to the amount of orders already placed, once all the hassle and bussle of a very busy restaurant was settled he (Costa) took time to explain all the specials on tonight ( of which there were a lot) he took time to go through his recommendations for us. On his recommendation I ordered the Scallops and pasta..........OMG..... to die for, Scallops were melt in the mouth, the Roe...... Mmmmmmmmmmmmm OMG. My partner ordered the Chicken Gyros, so large it was spilling of the plate. The house Red wine is so gentle,subtle but full flavoured I could have drank a ltr easily. The service, attitude,attention from all the wonderful staff (sorry I didn't catch all of the names) was something that English restaurants need to copy if they ever hope to achieve the tipping level you feel you need do to match here as a matter of appreciation. I could go on and on and on.... WELL DONE ALL AT MYTHOS TAVERN you are a shining example of Corfu Food at its finest 10☆'s don't come close. Thank you and see you in a day or 2 ......... So... my partner & i visited this outstanding resturaunt again this evening..... 1stly let me say at the end of our meal i got down on 1 knee & asked the wonderful/beautiful chef to marry me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. the service, food quality here is without doubt not only the best in Agious Georgious but the best on the island..... BIG CLAIM i KNOW BUT........ after 13yrs of visiting the wonderful island of Corfu i can back the claim up.... 7 out of 14 nights yearly, eating out over 13yrs Kostatina you sir are a gentleman & a credit to your proffesion. Read moreThis was our favourite restaurant in the resort and we came 3 times in total. It has a lovely atmosphere with beautiful views out into the bay, and at night you can hear the frog chorus from the neighbouring waterway. The food was lovely, and very freshly cooked. The feta in sesame with honey was delicious and cooked so much better than one of the other restaurants in the resort, and the mixed frill for 1 was always good, and varied in size from decent to enormous! There are some good vegetarian options too, especially if prepared to mix starters with salads.The service was friendly. Being freshly cooked, the food can take a while to arrive, but I prefer this to having starters and mains arrive all at once within 2 minutes of ordering and then being out of the door after a short visit. The food is a joke! A kid menu. Exactly 5 chips/fried potatoes pieces with the Souvlaki. The plates are tiny and the quality is below average. The prices are too expensive for the quality.
I NEVER saw an owner that is cheaper and trying to keep costs to a minimum to such an extent. He obviously and clearly think tourists are naive and dumbs and not worth the trouble if you read in between the line of how the dishes that are more expensive are lacking any price on the menu.

TL;DR: the restaurant is badly managed; read older reviews and you will see a pattern. Food is expensive...
