We came with two person. We ordered salad taboule (7euro) and peinirli with vegetables (7euro it was most expensive painirli there), after that we ordered also one beer (around 3,8) and one more peinirli but half/half - meat and vegetables. At the beggining we started speak Greek (I was asking about tap water). But the waiter give us menu in English. On the bill I saw the price 28,5 euro - with bread we didn't order. I paid 27,5 when they removed price of the bread. Because I am at 9 month pregnancy I asked my husband to check with them the price for the painirli - because the price for "half/half" painirli was (!) 9,5 (they put meat on the half of painirli and vegetables to the other part). He speaks with them alone. I didn't know what they told to him because I was still sitting. When he went to the toilet I wanted check prices in the menu. He didn't let me speak, and when I managed to say something in English, because it was hard for me to gather my thoughts to speak Greek when someone was shouting at me, he continued shouting, saying that we weren't in England, and that in Greece they spoke Greek, not English. Finally, I informed them that I was in this place for the last time, after which the manager replied that he also hoped that I...

This kind of inconsistency is really disappointing and raises questions about their quality control. When I called to give feedback, I was told they "don’t use hot spices" — which felt like a dismissive and dishonest response, rather than a genuine attempt to address the issue.
Sadly, this experience has put us off completely. We won’t be ordering...
Read moreThis is the best food you can get, the best value for money in Athens. We stayed in the Coral Hotel during our Christmas Holidays in 2018. The owners are the sweetest darlings ever!!! Our favourite meals were the lava doners, soutzouki pitas, the halva is delish. We didn't know a lot of the meals and were straight away offered a plate of their specialties, free tea, halva - they're the kindest. I think Alexandra was one of the waitresses names, a kind young lady. Definitely worth a visit and mainly locals eat there. Lots of love,...
