This park offers a fantastic day out, but there are a few things to keep in mind. I visited in August, and the outdoor park area can get scorching during the day, making it less enjoyable for kids. However, they have a thoughtful solution - an indoor activity area in the cafeteria for just 5 euros per child. Don't forget to bring socks for the kids if you plan on using this facility.
One important detail to note is that the amusement park area doesn't open until after 5 PM. Given the heat during the daytime, I'd recommend planning your visit for later in the day when it's cooler, and the amusement park is open for more fun and excitement.
The cafeteria in the park is a fantastic spot for parents. They offer a range of amenities, including coffee, desserts, and food, so you can relax while the kids play indoors.
Moreover, the park is situated by the water, making it an ideal place for a leisurely stroll, whether you have kids with you or not. The scenic views add an extra layer of charm to the overall experience. So, whether you're there for family fun or a peaceful walk by the water, this park has something for...
Read moreA beautiful seaside park perfect for families and relaxation! Flisvos Park is one of the best spots in Athens to unwind. It has a huge, well-maintained playground for kids, lots of shaded walking paths, and stunning views of the sea. You can enjoy a coffee by the marina, let the kids play safely, or take a peaceful walk by the water. Clean, safe, and full of life—highly recommended for a relaxing afternoon or family outing! It has also basketball court and a lot of drinks and snacks choices. It’s better to spend the whole day there. There is public transportation availability just nearby the main entrance. However, the biggest downside is the lack of public restrooms—there are no toilets inside the park itself, only two available inside a restaurant nearby. For such a large and family-friendly space, this is definitely something that needs...
Read moreThe best and I believe biggest playground in Athens. Little ones love love love it! Located near the sea, grown ups can relax strolling through the well preserved gardens and enjoying fresh air and open horizon. Kids have a big variety of toys to choose, even a couple inflatable playground (which has an entrance fee while the rest of the park is free), one indoors and another one outdoors. There is a place to drink your coffee or you can have it to go. If I had to put an age limit, I think if your child can walk then they will definitely enjoy it. Not sure about the parking situation, we always go early to avoid crowds and traffic and never had any trouble finding a...
