Very bad/cold food on a dirty beach with pigeons inside your food! We left hungry! Brought us literally cold burgers! Not only the bread of the burger was cold but the chicken inside also cold.
Horrible experience, unacceptable food and service.
The burger was cold bread, a pice of cold cheese, cold chiken, a tomato slice and ketchup!! I would never agree to serve smth like that😩🤣
Tragic!
They minused the burgers from main bill but
we still had to pay 20 euros for this horrible food, bad service and unpleasant experience, leaving hungry- we didn’t eat the burgers, while fighting off pigeons who fly in on our table and time lost, waiting forever, to pay or talk to them.
There were many determined pigeons feeding off the unserved tables, throwing food around, flying on our table and other tables while people are still eating, stealing the food, not only on the tables on the beach but many pigeons at once walking and all feeding on the inside tables…they could unserve the old food off the tables of ppl who have left so that they don’t get attracted!
Nobody came to ask ab the food, so we can order smth else!!! -ask to warm the burgers, tho the ratio or waiters/work seemed overstaffed. Asked for the bill and waited 17 min. In the 3 times we asked for it we asked to pay with card. They came in 20 min to pay -they didn’t bring the terminal so we had to wait another 10 for that again.
*This place use to have ok food. They should not serve burgers or have it in the menu if they can’t make it!
Even when 10+ waiters work there, service is never good, nobody ever looks around/overall to check at all tables at one glance, they seem thinking and focused twrds only one action and unapproachable, like they don’t want anyone to talk to them coz they are thinking smth or already have smth to do. They seem stressed and overwhelmed even when is not so busy. Professional service is to always look around at all tables at all times
View is amazing, probably worthy only for cold beers but their draft/on tap
beer machine was also broken,
we couldn’t order extra beers...
Read moreI visited recently with my dear friend. I've been many times and we love the location. There isn't anything particularly spectacular about the food, but it's usually good and consistent. This last trip left me feeling very disappointed. We are nice people to serve, and while we are locals who live in Athens, with pie accents, you can tell we are clearly foreigners 🙈 We ordered water, wine, salad, and an appetizer and relaxed for a while. The restaurant was not too busy. We were undecided on dessert and asked for a recommendation. We ultimately were told to try the Apple Pie, so we ordered this. They said they would bring it with two scoops of ice cream because there were two of us but we declined knowing we didn't need that! 😅 When the dessert arrived, they said there was a disagreement in the kitchen and they gave us both the Apple Pie and the orange pie since they couldn't decide which was better. We laughed and gratefully enjoyed the desserts. When the bill came, I paid it as it was offered to me and left a €6 tip on a €50 bill. Only once I left the restaurant did I realize they had charged us for both desserts. I was very disappointed in this as I know this happens with many businesses when they serve tourists, and it's just not indicative of the filoxenia I know to be present in Greece. Shame on Kostas the server for this. I am happy to pay for anything I ordered, and also to tip, but this behavior is what leaves many tourists feeling scammed. As a foreign resident who loves living in this country, I am disappointed in...
Read moreJust a short walk from Alimos Marina, we discovered an absolute gem — a charming, authentic Greek taverna that turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm smile and genuine hospitality that instantly made us feel welcome.
The taverna sits right by the sea, and we were lucky enough to get a table overlooking the water just in time for sunset. The view was nothing short of breathtaking — golden light reflecting off the waves, with the sound of gentle Greek music in the background. It created the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing and memorable evening.
The food was simply outstanding. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We had traditional Greek starters, fresh seafood, and a delicious house wine — everything tasted homemade with love and care. It’s clear that the owners take great pride in their food and service.
The staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They even gave us some recommendations and shared stories about the area, which made the experience feel even more personal.
If you’re near Alimos Marina, skip the touristy spots and head straight here. It’s the perfect place to enjoy authentic Greek cuisine with a magical view. Highly...
