Evans Tavern — Restaurant in Municipality of Palaio Faliro

We stoped by to had lunch here on sunday evening. We ordered fried octopus and veal steak. Octopus looked like appetizer not a main meal, portion was ridiculously small. 2-3 small pieces and not cooked well. Also they added some salad. Veal tasted like nothing. Was lack of salt and flavour. There was selection of sides and I selected pasta which was plain spaghetti with some cheese. Complimentary ice cream after a meal was only thing that gave this tavern two stars. Service was nice tough, waiter were pleasant but the food was not...

I chose this restaurant because of the many positive reviews, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The portions were extremely small, and the food lacked any real flavor. There was no proper seasoning, and it didn’t resemble homemade Greek food at all. It felt bland and uninspired — nothing like the authentic Greek cuisine I was expecting. Definitely not...

A nice room, non spectacular food, considering price and authenticity, detached, hurried service, not generous with présentation. All in all, a pity.
