Mama Pizza — Restaurant in Municipality of Patras

Le restaurant is located in a lovely pavement street in the city centre. Pizza is ok. The attitude of the owner is unacceptable. We’ve witnessed a scene that profoundly shocked us. A very obviously poor old man was passing by and tried to stand on the other side of the restaurant to listen to a lovely band playing that evening just next to the restaurant, on the public space. The owner came and very rudely asked the man to leave, bringing also 2 young men to scare him off. The old man left. How dare you deciding who will sit where on the public space? Why you, restaurant owner can use the public pavement to expand your restaurant, take the public bench for your business and why other citizens can’t just sit in the public space to enjoy the city? I will never ever stop at the place again and will make sure that this story is shared....

A very nice italian restaurant in the city center. They offer a selection of famous italian dishes, mostly pasta and pizzas, along with a few other options. While there are some appetizers, they are very filling and the portions of their main dishes are very generous, so there's hardly a need for both. There is a small selection of wines and spirits to choose from, but the dishes take the cake. They are very well made and the staff can recommend you dishes according to what you have tried before. The place is runned by a lovely couple. The chef is a real Italian and you can really taste it in the delicious dishes. The pizza is a real Italian pizza with few and quality ingredients!
