The Pyrofani Piraeus — Restaurant in Municipality of Piraeus

TRATTORIA - RISTORANTE The Pyrofani Piraeus Akti Themistokleous 212, Pireas 185 39, Atene Grecia LUNGOMARE PIRIAKI : GIUDIZIO OTTIMO A fine luglio 2023 arrivati in Grecia ,ad Atene, abbiamo chiesto ad un illuminato taxista locale ( il Signor  Κώστας Γιαννόπουλος   )  di portarci in un luogo molto caratteristico lungo lo splendido ed affascinante mare di Piriaki oltre il porto del Pireo. È stato bello recarci al Ristorante Pyrofani Piraeus , bello pulito e confortevole gestito dalla simpaticissima proprietaria. Abbiamo mangiato un pesce dalla freschezza entusiasmante perché scelto in vasche all'interno del locale pieno di diverse qualità di meravigliosi pesci . Pur essendo il locale molto semplice,  comunque ben arredato,  abbiamo mangiato benissimo e trascorso una bellissima serata di fronte al mare. È importante segnalare che la conduttrice del Ristorante è anche proprietaria di un 'attigua pescheria proprio all'interno del locale che viene rifornita ogni prima mattina da un loro peschereccio necessario perché oltre al Ristorante la titolare al mattino vende direttamente il pesce appena pescato agli abitanti locali della zona : quindi , di fatto, si può dire "tutto dal pescatore alla brace" ! Ottimi anche i dolci e delle strepitose ciliege ed altra frutta nonché il famoso liquore tipico ouzo (di fatto anice con ghiaccio) fornitoci al termine del pranzo come digestivo . È bene segnalare che il conto è  risultato veramente modico , soprattutto per l'alta qualità delle diverse vivande forniteci . Esperienza da ripetere in un eventuale ritorno in Grecia. Giudizio veramente positivo: OTTIMO. Well, where to start. I randomly discovered this place by working on a athenian gastronomy scene. We needed fish tavern and we were walking around pireaus while having no plan where to go. This place just popped up ahead of us and it was best experience ever. We asked the staff to lower the shades due to extreme sunlight, they first refused, after they accepted to do so but never did a thing and finally we lightly argued and they agreed to transfer us to another table which was for 6 persons while our reservation was for 8.
