Me and my girlfriend had a pretty unwelcoming experience at the Vigli restaurant. The staff was very ignorant from the start, placing us at a table with the worst view on the first floor. We were told that the roof with the best view was fully booked. But two minutes later another couple arrived, also without a reservation, but they happened to know someone who knew someone and lo and behold, they were told that if they wait two minutes a table upstairs will be available for them.
So that's our first impression - let's move on to the food and drinks. We ordered a bottle of red wine which was scorching hot. They must have given us a bottle that had been exposed to the sun for a whole day. Because I certainly didn't order Glückwine in the 30 degrees heat. We ordered a plate of grilled mixed meats. A mountain of meat arrived on top of some soggy fries with a very limited amount of Tzatsiki. No explanation from the waiter what kind of meets we'd been served. It was over all pretty dry.
This experience cost us 50 EUR. I would not recommend this tourist trap to anyone, in case you don't...

Read moreVery good service in this family owned restaurant. Father and son do a great service and sister does a killer pepper sauce in the kitchen. While all the other restaurants that we visited managed to overcook the meat these guys does a good job. Lamb chops was great, beef and pork steaks were great.
