A true hidden gem in Poros!

Tucked away in the backstreets of Poros, this taverna is hands down the best place we’ve been to on the island. We were a group of 13 with not so organised and picky orders, yet the staff handled everything with incredible patience, kindness, and a smile.

The hospitality was beyond anything we expected — they made us feel completely at home. Even after the kitchen had officially closed, they were more than happy to let us stay, enjoy our food, and take our time with desserts after midnight. Not once did we feel rushed, even though we were the last ones there.

Splitting the bill was made super easy, which was a refreshing change. The food? Absolutely delicious. Full of homemade dishes and all the Greek classics, everything was flavourful and fresh — great value for money too.

To top it off, we got complimentary shots at the end, and the owner even invited us to his son’s bar by the harbour and treated us to more shots there. Just incredible!

If you visit Poros and want fresh traditional home style cooked food , you definitely need to visit this place . We have traveled every year to Greece and the islands and this was our first visit to Poros. This was by far the best meal we have ever had ( our travel buddies are chefs ) and they too rated it the best meal in all of Greece ! The tzatziki was the best ever , the Greek salad ( with no lettuce filler had a huge slab ( not piece) but slab of feta on top ! The mixed grilled platter had pork belly, lamb chops , chicken breasts, beef patties and a traditional sausage ( huge ) all chargrilled on the spot ! We loved it so much , we booked again for tomorrow night...

Excellent and friendly service. We were made feel welcome and the waiters were attentive. (We were offered lots of tsipouro shots on the house too which definitely helped make us feel welcomed). The food came quickly and was fresh and tatsy, particularly for the price. Overall a solid option for anyone looking to have some good and reasonably priced food in a nice environment.
