It took a minute to find you but oh boy were we happy to get there in the end . Truly magnificent restaurant , the best of front house service you’ll find anywhere here locally. Mama with all her years of traditional cooking experience with her wonderful Son as chef proprietor in the kitchen and together nightly Dad and Son both overseeing staff and guests on their arrival with true passion for what they do. They look after everyone . The food is traditional with a contemporary edge - it’s up to date well presented and super delicious . You will not get better than this and if you want the best of sunset locations then this will be the place for you . If you decide the sunset is too early but like us foodies then get there a little later and enjoy everything there is to enjoy about this restaurant . If it’s chilly there’s seating inside and will yes it’s going to be open all year round .

First of all, the food was nice without a doubt. Was it that great? Well it was good but for the prices being asked here you can expect that. But if you are looking for an instaworthy place to have dinner with solid meals, look no further. The evening before we had shrimps at a different place and the bar had been set really high in terms of freshness, taste and size of the portion. The main reason behind the “bad” three stars is how the waiter reacted (or much more didn’t react) when we told that the Aperol Spritz was completely watered down and was missing the “spritz”. I’ve had a few Aperol in touristic areas all over Europe and never had such an expensive (10€) one with that little alcohol in it. We have been to Methoni twice, this place is truly special, the atmosphere was elegant, refined and smart. The views spectacular! The food was all excellent, between our table of 10 we were all delighted, the steak starter was exceptional the steak tender and perfect, the fried zucchini balls excellent, all the mains were perfect. Service was well informed and friendly. This is a must visit, the price was only slightly more than the local bar grills, but for value this is a league above, would get back in if we could, book early to avoid...
