SADO Sushi tales & cocktails — Restaurant in Municipality of Pylos and Nestor

Would not recommend to anyone that comes to Gialova - typical tourist trap and service was beyond poor - The wait staff were like an army of generals; everyone was walking round or standing around doing absolutely nothing.

We were sat down for two hours and the sushi order was wrong, half of our mains hadn’t come out after an hour.

There was live music and it felt like they were the main guests of the restaurant with wait staff taking videos and pictures rather than tending to the customers trying to flag them down. Obnoxiously loud music where no one could hear their own thoughts let alone speak to anyone.

There were 2 terrapin in a pool like structure in the middle - no wildlife or rocks in the pool to house a natural habitat for them. Utter disgrace of the wellbeing of them.

I recently visited Sado with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience was quite underwhelming. The first thing that struck me was the exorbitant prices on the menu, which led me to believe the quality would be top-notch. Sadly, this was not the case.

The sushi was fresh but the fish lacked flavor. The rice was poorly seasoned making it nearly impossible to enjoy. The portions were small, which added insult to injury given the high prices.

For the price we paid, I expected a much higher standard of food and service. I wouldn't recommend Sado to anyone looking for quality sushi. Save your money and try one of the many other options available...

A lovely place in Gialova. I visited for the first time yesterday, I have got positive reviews from friends. As far as I know it's the only sushi place in the area, it's always good to have different options to pick from. The menu has nice options, we picked a mix of known and new flavors, we enjoyed them all. The cocktail list is also very interesting but I opted to try sake for the first time, it was nice!
