Cafe Greco Rethymno — Restaurant in Municipality of Rethymnon

This was our first time staying in Crete, and we went into greco whilst passing by one evening. The atmosphere is always lovely and the music along with the Greek style nights are fantastic a perfect mix of chill drinks and wanting to get up and have a boogie. We have since vistited twice more and equally enjoyed each time, the cocktails are favourable and well presented, not to mention happy hour where cocktails are £5. Although we only got a little bite to eat here it was fresh and again good size portions for what was ordered and the kitchen stayed open until about 12am they kindly went out of there way to make us something before the kitchen closed. Absolutely amazing! The best food we had all week. Just so gutted only found it on our last night. Staff were brilliant. Very helpful and really great interacting with the kids. Even came and danced with our daughter which she found very amusing! 😁 Kids menu. The chips are gorgeous with a rosemary coating. Definitely recommend! The traditional Greek dish on the menu of lamb with honey and rosemary was absolutely delicious and I really could have had a second helping of it..not because it was small servings just because it was so good. First time, me and the family went to Crete for our holiday, the other holiday makers we started talking to had recommended trying Greco , which we did this evening as I write this review.

This place now comes from me as highly recommended, the food has probably been one of the best for places tried this week , to start we had Cheesy Garlic Bread, followed by Pork Gyros which had fresh salad , chips, pittas etc

All washed down by one of the best tasting Mojitos , I've tried quite a few down the years in various countries / restaurants...
